Service scope

Training Equipment

Practical equipment for learning the functions and relationships of engineering components.

Laboratory Equipment

Laboratory equipment tailored to learning objectives and use requirements.

Interactive Learning Systems

Interactive educational systems connecting concepts with observation and experimentation.

Making concepts observable and practical

KNA develops teaching aids, engineering trainers, and educational equipment for vocational schools, universities, laboratories, and training centers. Equipment starts with learning objectives: what participants need to observe, connect, measure, program, test, or troubleshoot.

Curricula, participant levels, user counts, laboratory space, facilities, budgets, and competency targets inform the design. Instructor demonstration equipment and student practice trainers can have different interface and usage requirements.

Types of trainers we can develop

Trainers can combine hardware, software, and communications to demonstrate component relationships. A trainer need not include every technology; select functions that support the exercises and participant level.

  • PLCs and automation: I/O, sensors, actuators, motors, HMIs, sequences, and troubleshooting.
  • Electrical and electronics: circuits, power supplies, relays, measurement, and control.
  • Embedded systems and IoT: GPIO, firmware, data acquisition, MQTT, communications, and dashboards.
  • Robotics and machine vision: mechanisms, motion control, cameras, lighting, detection, and inspection.

Modular, integrated, and suited to the laboratory

A single trainer can focus on one competency. Modular trainers separate functions such as power, controllers, sensors, actuators, communications, and HMIs so exercises can expand. Integrated trainers can combine processes such as conveyors, sensors, PLCs, inspection, and monitoring.

For teaching factories or laboratory development, equipment can reflect industrial system relationships. Usability, connection labels, measurement access, repeated-use durability, and safety requirements should be discussed alongside institutional facilities.

From trainer design to learning activities

Requirements become mechanical, electrical, electronic, software, and interface designs. After construction, the intended functions and experiments are tested. Instructor and user feedback can guide refinement before handover.

Learning modules, practical guides, projects, assessments, and operating guidance can be included in scope. Send competencies or curricula, exercise lists, participant counts, facilities, existing equipment, and references. KNA can help define trainer configurations and documentation.
